DESTINATIONS
Where Shore Thing Takes You
Shore Thing runs charters along Australia’s east coast, from Sydney Harbour to the Great Barrier Reef. Cruise past the Opera House aboard Shore Thing 115, or head north to the Gold Coast and Whitsundays for warmer water and quieter anchorages.
Chase marlin off the Great Barrier Reef aboard Shore Thing 58, explore Brisbane’s waterways, or island-hop through the Whitsundays. Every charter is built around where you want to go and what you want to do when you get there — day trip, overnight stay, or serious offshore fishing.
NEWCASTLE & PORT STEPHENS
North of Sydney on the run up the coast. Port Stephens has one of the largest wild dolphin populations in Australia, plus sheltered bays and the Stockton sand dunes right on the water.
FRASER ISLAND
Fraser Island (K'gari) runs 120km off the Queensland coast — the world's largest sand island, with rainforest growing straight out of the dunes and freshwater lakes clear enough to see the bottom.
GOLD COAST
Broadwater, canals, and open beach, all in one trip. The Gold Coast gives you sheltered water for cruising and open water for fishing, without the crowds you'd expect this close to the city.
BRISBANE
Brisbane River out to Moreton Bay. A working city with a proper river, island anchorages twenty minutes offshore, and a subtropical climate that means you can charter here any season.
TANGALOOMA & MORETON BAY
Moreton Island sits just off Brisbane, with sandbanks, dolphins, and the Tangalooma wrecks to snorkel around. Shallow, calm water makes it an easy day trip or an overnight stop on the way north.
WHITSUNDAYS
74 islands, white sand, and some of the best anchorages on the east coast. Built for island-hopping — snorkel one bay, anchor overnight in the next, wake up somewhere different each day.
GREAT BARRIER REEF
The reef speaks for itself. Clear water, coral, and fishing grounds most people never get close to.
